What data actually exists
Because MindShift has no sign-up and no login, we hold very little about you as a person. The data tied to your use of the app is:
- Session transcripts — the text of conversations you ran through MindShift and the coaching suggestions it produced, stored on MindShift's server (a small SQLite database).
- Minimal operational data — connection/session identifiers and timestamps used to route a session and keep the service running.
We do not store recordings of your microphone audio — audio is streamed to our transcription provider (Deepgram) in real time and is not retained by us as audio. For the full picture of how data is handled, see the Privacy Policy.
How to request deletion
Send us an email and we'll erase your session transcripts from our server. No account needed.
- Email sagearbor+mindshift@gmail.com with the subject "MindShift data deletion request."
- So we can find the right records (there are no accounts to match on), please include roughly when you used the app and the device you used (model / OS). Any session detail you remember helps.
- We'll confirm and permanently delete your session transcripts within 30 days, then reply to confirm it's done.
What gets deleted
On completion of your request we remove your stored session transcripts and coaching output from our database, along with the associated operational records. Once deleted, this data cannot be recovered.
About our processors. The conversation text was processed by Deepgram (transcription) and Anthropic (coaching) at the time of your session. We do not retain your audio, and we don't send new data to them once your session ends. Their handling of any transient processing data is governed by their own policies, linked from our Privacy Policy.
